Yew and Box Cones and Pyramids

Topiary Cones & PYRAMIDS

Cones have rounded sides resembling an upside down ice cream cornet, where as Pyramids have three or four flat plane sides resembling an Egyptian pyramid. 

You can use both cones and pyramids to give your garden structure and architectural shape and to complement your low level planting and they look particularly impressive when in a line either side of your driveway - or to fill awkward spots and to hide unsightly areas of your garden, but they also look beautiful in planters on your patio or outside your front door.

Topiary Cones

Our topiary cones are available in...

  • Box (Buxus sempervirens)

  • Holly (Ilex)

  • Bay (Laurus nobilis)

  • Portuguese Laurel (Prunus lusitanica)

  • English Yew (Taxus baccata)

We have them in various sizes and are measured by the height and width of their base. Box cones are measured and priced by height and diameter with the height starting at 60cm up to 220cm and the width between 30cm and 130cm.

English Yew cones are available in our nursery up to 300cm high -  although as the photos below show, we can get larger ones on request.

Topiary Pyramids

Our topiary pyramids are available in...

  • Box (Buxus sempervirens) and

  • English Yew (Taxus baccata) come in various sizes - measured by height and width of base.

The largest Box pyramid we have in the nursery is approximately 170cm tall with a width of 60cm at the base. Larger specimens can be ordered on request. The smallest pyramids we have are 80cm high with a 45cm width at the base.

We have English Yew pyramids up to 180cm high - larger plants available on request.
